The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially announced a change in the opening date of its recruitment portal. The portal, which was originally scheduled to open on Thursday, June 26, 2025, will now be accessible to the public from Monday, July 14, 2025.
This change was disclosed in a public announcement signed by the Secretary to the Board. The statement emphasized that the new portal address for all recruitment-related activities is recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng.
According to the Board, the decision to shift the date was made to ensure better preparedness and accessibility for prospective applicants. The Board also reiterated that the application process remains entirely free of charge, warning applicants to beware of scammers or individuals requesting payments for forms or processing.
“All applications are free and do not attract any payment,” the announcement read, adding that the Board regrets any inconvenience caused by the shift in schedule.
Applicants seeking to join the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), or the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) are advised to visit the official recruitment portal on the new date to begin their application process.
