CDCFIB Opens Online Recruitment Portal for Paramilitary Agencies

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the commencement of a nationwide recruitment exercise for qualified Nigerians seeking full-time employment in the country’s paramilitary agencies.
In a statement issued on Monday, Secretary to the Board, retired Major-General Abdulmalik Jubril, said the application portal — https://recruitment.cdcfib.org — will open on Thursday, and remain active for three weeks.

The recruitment drive covers vacancies in four agencies: the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), and the Federal Fire Service (FFS).
“All applications must be submitted online. The process is entirely free of charge,” Jubril stated, urging applicants to apply to only one agency, warning that multiple submissions will lead to automatic disqualification.

Available Positions and Requirements
The Board listed several positions across Superintendent, Inspectorate, and Assistant cadres:

Superintendent of Corrections (CONMESS 09) – Only for NCoS: Bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery.

Assistant Superintendent I (CONPASS 09) – Only for FFS: Degree in Law or a BSc in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Water Engineering, or related fields.

Assistant Superintendent II (CONPASS 08) – For NSCDC, FFS, NIS: BSc or Higher National Diploma (HND).

Inspector (CONHESS 06) – For NCoS, NSCDC, FFS: Registered Nurses or Midwives.

Assistant Inspector (CONPASS 06) – All agencies: National Diploma or NCE in any relevant field.

Assistant II (General Duty, CONPASS 04) – All agencies: SSCE/NECO/GCE O’Level with minimum five credits in not more than two sittings.

Assistant III (General Duty) – All agencies: Four O’Level credits in not more than two sittings.
General Eligibility
Applicants must:

Be Nigerian citizens.

Be medically fit.

Possess the required academic qualifications.

Have no criminal or financial conviction record.

Be between the ages of 18 and 35.
