Hull City winger Sorba Thomas has escaped injury after his vehicle overturned in a road accident close to the club’s training ground in Cottingham, East Yorkshire.
The incident occurred on Friday morning on Millhouse Woods Lane, near Hull City’s training facility. Images circulating online showed a grey Land Rover Defender lying on its roof with significant damage, prompting concern among supporters.
Hull City subsequently confirmed that the Wales international was unharmed.
In a statement, the Premier League club said it was relieved to confirm that Thomas had sustained no injuries and had emerged from the vehicle completely unscathed.
